It doesn't matter if your not at TDC when you adjust
the valves. It just matters that you can feel play
in the exhaust rockers when you adjust them and the
intake rockers when you adjust those. It's easier
at TDC because both rockers will have play.
No big deal. Let me guess-you couldn't get the
alternator cap off. Me either so I used an impact
screwdriver and busted a small slot right through
it!! I can't believe what a shitty design it is.
I'm going to make a new stainless steel threaded
cap on the lathe with a square boss I can get a
wrench on. They are for sale for $60.00 plus S+H.
